Pro notes: NWSL draft expected to include state players, led by Lavelle

Several players with state ties could hear their names called Thursday afternoon as the National Women's Soccer League holds its annual college draft in Los Angeles.
Here's a look at the 2016 recruiting classes for the state's NCAA Division I and II schools and commitments by state players to Division III, NAIA or out-of-state schools.

A pair of players on state teams, University of Wisconsin midfielder Rose Lavelle and Marquette defender Morgan Proffitt, were among the 36 players named to the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy preseason watch list.
