College notes: UW-Oshkosh's Molenaar hired by Michigan school

While a group of former UW-Oshkosh men's soccer players continue their efforts to save the successful program from elimination, Titans coach Wytse Molenaar has moved on to the next chapter in his career.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division III All-North Region women's team for 2015 had a strong Wisconsin flavor, with seven of the 11 first-team selections being either state natives or members of state programs.

Sarah Tompkins (Franklin) was named an assistant coach in the Illinois State women's program and will work with the Redbirds' goalkeepers.

Check out the state natives and players from Wisconsin teams who earned all-conference women's soccer accolades across the Midwest and the nation this fall.

Eight Wisconsin natives are headed to Kansas City, Mo., where the NCAA Division III men's and women's soccer championships will be played Friday and Saturday at Sporting Kansas City's Swope Soccer Village.
