The Milwaukee Bavarians will open defense of their Premier League of America championship on their home turf, as they play host to Aurora Borealis SC on May 13 at Heartland Value Fund Stadium in Glendale.

The Bavarians announced their 10-game PLA schedule on Tuesday. They'll face local rivals Croatian Eagles on June 10 in Franklin and at home July 12, and will take on the Madison 56ers on June 4 at Breese Stevens Field in Madison and at home July 8.

The Croatians, meanwhile, released their five-game home schedule for matches at Croatian Park, which includes a match against the 56ers on May 13. The PLA playoffs are scheduled for July 29 and 30.

Last season, the Bavarians went 6-1-3 to claim the West Division title, then beat Toledo United 1-0 in the semifinals and Illinois side RWB Adria 4-2 to capture the PLA crown in their first season in the league.
