Big wins last Tuesday helped Kettle Moraine and Brookfield East move up in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association state rankings.

Kettle Moraine jumped three places to second in the Division 1 state poll after winning all three of their games by shutout last week, including a 7-0 rout of Waukesha Catholic Memorial.

The Spartans, meanwhile, held off then-No. 2 Wauwatosa East 2-1 last Tuesday – ending the Red Raiders' 11-game unbeaten run – and rose two spots to No. 3 in this week's Division 2 poll.

The four No. 1 teams in the state remained unchanged for the second straight week, and 18 of the 20 sides ranked this week also were in the polls last week. The lone exceptions were Division 1 Hartland Arrowhead and Division 4 Ozaukee, both of which checked in at No. 5 in their respective divisions after earning honorable mention last week.
