Rosters for the boys game at the 26th annual Wisconsin Masonic All-Star Game were announced this week, and several of the state's top graduating seniors have committed to playing in the match July 22 at UW-Whitewater's Fiskum Field.

Milwaukee Marquette defender Ben Leas, a University of Wisconsin recruit who was the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year last fall, will play on the Blue team.

Leas' teammates will include Schofield D.C. Everest forward Jack Mittelsteadt, a fellow first-team all-state selection who led the state with 55 goals last fall; Green Bay Preble senior forward Isaac Putzier, a second-team all-state pick; and Leas' prep teammate Sam Holton, who was a second-team all-state choice at midfielder.

The Gold squad, meanwhile, is headed up by Preble midfielder Antonio De Castro, a first-team all-state selection who is headed to UW-Green Bay next fall. Also on the Gold roster are Sussex Hamilton midfielder Connor Provan, a UW-Milwaukee recruit, and Delavan-Darien forward Tigrio Huerta, who was a second-team all-state pick and ended his career ranked in the top five in state history goals, assists and points, according to the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Record Book.

Provan was one of 13 players named to the team who earned all-state "Best of the Rest" honors in 2016. Rosters for the girls match will be announced at a later date, along with the schedule of events and ticket information.

The all-star games are organized by the Wisconsin Masonic Soccer Foundation, and the week leading up to the matches traditionally includes a youth soccer camp, training sessions for the all-stars, a cook-out and a recognition breakfast.
