Waukesha West didn't beat Milwaukee DSHA in their non-conference matchup last Friday, but the Wolverines' 3-3 draw against the Dashers made an impression on the panel of voters who determine the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association girls state polls.

West (13-0-1) moved into the No. 1 overall ranking in the poll released Monday night, knocking DSHA off the top spot for the first time this season. Dani Rhodes scored her 35th and 36th goals of the season in the high-scoring draw against DSHA on Friday.

The Dashers remain the top-ranked team in the state in Division 1, while the Wolverines solidified their spot atop the Division 2 poll ahead of Oregon (12-0-0).

Waukesha West takes on another No. 1 team on Tuesday night, facing top-ranked Division 3 side Waukesha Catholic Memorial (13-1-1) in a Classic 8 Conference match at Waukesha South High School. Then on Thursday, the Wolverines play at Wauwatosa East, which is ranked third in Division 2 and tied DSHA 1-1 in a Greater Metro Conference game last week.

Lake Country Lutheran-Hartland University Lake moved up three spots to No. 1 in the Division 4 poll. The Lightning have outscored opponents 31-2 in their current seven-game winning streak and beat then-No. 3 Brookfield Academy 2-1 last Wednesday.

The Division 3 poll remained unchanged for the third consecutive week.
