Cammie Murtha, who is part of the University of Wisconsin's incoming freshman class, was part of an eight-day U.S. Under-19 women's national team camp that wrapped up Saturday in Sunrise, Fla.

Murtha scored 30 goals and added 24 assists last fall to help lead North Bethesda Walter Johnson (18-1-0) claim its first Maryland 4A state championship. The striker scored the game-winner in the final seconds of the Wildcats' regional final, then netted overtime winning goals in the state semifinals and final. She also plays for Bethesda SC in the Elite Clubs National League.

All 26 players in the U.S. Under-19 camp under coach Jitka Klimkova were born in 1999 and are eligible for the American team that will attempt to qualify for the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in France. The camp included a friendly against the University of Florida women's team last Friday.
