Toronto FC's Tosaint Ricketts (UW-Green Bay) scored the 15th goal of his international career, moving into a tie for fifth place on the Canadian national team's all-time list, as Canada doubled up host Bermuda 4-2 in a friendly Sunday in Devonshire.
The 29-year-old Ricketts gave the visitors the lead in the 23rd minute, taking a pass from midfielder Jonathan Osorio on the right side and firing past Bermudian goalkeeper Jahquil Hill to the near post. The goal came just 2 minutes after Osorio had leveled the score.
Ricketts, who earned his 55th cap, pulled even with Ali Gerba on the Canadian goal-scoring list and is one behind Alex Bunbury for fourth place; Dwayne De Rosario holds the program record with 22 goals. Canada's next match is a friendly at Scotland on March 22 in Edinburgh.
