A pair of Wisconsin teams will play in Tuesday's semifinals at the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Championships in Westfield, Ind., and they're in the same division.

The Milwaukee Bavarians and Elm Grove SC Under-16 boys sides are poised for the 9 a.m. regional semifinals, looking to advance to Wednesday's finals. Both teams won their respective groups in pool play, which wrapped up Sunday.

The Bavarians were the only Under-16 boys team to win all three group matches, including a 1-0 victory over State Cup champion SC Waukesha Blue. The Bavarians, who qualified for regionals thanks to their performance in the Midwest Regional League, face Missouri's Sporting St. Louis McMahon Ford in the semifinals.

Austen Schweinert had the opener, his team-best third goal of the weekend, and Cole Stephens snapped a tie in the 75th as the Bavarians edged Indiana's Three Lions United Yellow 2-1 in their group finale Sunday to earn a semifinal berth.

Elm Grove, which lost to SC Waukesha Blue on penalty kicks following a 1-1 draw in the State Cup final, got two goals from Jesus Hernandez in a 4-1 victory over Illinois' Libertyville FC 1974 on Sunday to win its group with a 2-0-1 record. Hernandez scored a division-best four goals in pool play for Elm Grove, which will face Ohio Premier Green in the semifinals.

The final is scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday. Region II champions qualify for the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships, which are July 26 to 31 in Frisco, Texas.

Wisconsin teams posted a combined 20-24-7 record in group play Friday through Sunday, with 10 boys sides going 13-11-6 and seven girls teams recording a 7-13-1 mark.

The SC Waukesha Blue Under-16s and the Strike FC Premier 1 Under-19 team led the way for the state girls sides, as each won two of their three matches in pool play.
