SC Waukesha will have teams in six of Sunday's nine finals at the Wisconsin State Championships at Scheels USA Youth Complex in Appleton.

Four clubs – Bavarian SC, Elm Grove SC, FC Wisconsin Nationals and the Madison 56ers – each have two finalists in the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association event commonly referred to as the State Cup, while four others have one apiece.

The seven boys teams and two girls sides that claim titles Sunday also will earn berths in the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Championships, which are June 25 to 29 in Westfield, Ind. Four other girls divisions, Under-15 through Under-18, are annually contested in the fall in Wisconsin to avoid conflicts with the WIAA high school season.

Three of Saturday's semifinal matches extended beyond regulation time.
Croatian Eagles Red outlasted North Shore United Blue on penalties following a 0-0 draw in Under-18 boys competition. And a pair of Madison FC Gold sides lost after extra time, with the Under-14 boys falling 2-1 to SC Waukesha Blue and the Under-16 boys dropping a 1-0 decision to the Elm Grove Blues.

The Elm Grove Under-16 boys are one of only two teams to have not allowed a goal in State Cup play – the Blues have outscored their four opponents 12-0. The other is the club's Under-19 boys team, which had a 27-0 goal differential in last weekend's group play and will play Appleton SC in Sunday's final.

Twelve of the 18 finalists have won all of their matches in the competition.
