University of Wisconsin midfielder Rose Lavelle played in two of three matches as the U.S. Under-23 women's national team didn't allow a goal in winning the Istria Cup in Umag, Croatia.
Lavelle logged the full 90 minutes as the Americans beat the full Slovenian national team 3-0 in their opener last Wednesday and blanked the French national "B" team 2-0 in Sunday's finale. The All-American was an unused sub as the U.S. played a scoreless draw against the Polish Under-19 national team in its other match Friday.
