Ian Bennett and Marcio Leite both had hat tricks as the Milwaukee Wave finished off a sweep of their two-game West Coast road trip with a 10-4 victory over the Ontario Fury in a Major Arena Soccer League match Wednesday night.

Tony Walls (Wauwatosa East/UW-Green Bay) added two goals and defender Jonathan Greenfield pitched in with two assists, giving him six in his four appearances this season, as the Wave (8-5) had a little easier win one night after holding off the San Diego Sockers 7-6.

Ontario opened the scoring and went ahead again in the second quarter, but Leite and Tony Patterson (Menomonee Falls/UW-Green Bay) scored equalizers and Leite's power-play goal with 1:41 left in the first half gave Milwaukee the lead for good.

One-time Wave forward Israel Sesay scored his second goal of the night to pull the Fury (4-5) within 5-3 early in the fourth quarter, but Bennett answered with his first goal. He added two more in the next 4 minutes to push his season total to a league-best 24 goals.

Bennett assisted on Leite's third goal of the game and eighth of the season, which came against a sixth attacker with 1:56 remaining and finished off the scoring. Goalkeeper-assistant coach Nick Vorberg made 14 saves as he lowered his goals-against average to 5.15, the third-best mark in the MASL.

Milwaukee starts a five-game homestand at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Saturday night against the St. Louis Ambush (1-8), with kickoff set for 6:05.
