Victoria Pickett is following up her stellar debut season of college soccer with the University of Wisconsin by heading to Honduras with the Canadian squad for the CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship.

Pickett, the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Year and a second-team, All-Big Ten selection during the fall, and her teammates will have a brief camp starting Monday in Sunrise, Fla., then will travel to San Pedro Sula for the tournament.

Canada faces Trinidad and Tobago in its opener Thursday, then concludes Group A play with matches against Jamaica next Saturday and host Honduras on Dec. 7. The top two teams in each group advance to the semifinals Dec. 11, with the two winners and the winner of the Dec. 13 third-place match earning spots in next year's FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup from Nov. 13 to Dec. 3 in Papua New Guinea.

Pickett, who had two goals and four assists in 16 appearances for the Badgers this season, previously played in the 2012 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup and the 2014 Under-20 Women's World Cup, which was held in Canada.
