The finals are set for the four girls divisions of the 2016 Wisconsin State Championships being contested this fall, after group play concluded Saturday and semifinal matches were held Sunday at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.

SC Waukesha leads the way with teams in three of the four championship games, which are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at Uihlein, while North Shore United has sides in two finals. The Madison 56ers, Rush Wisconsin and Brookfield SA also saw teams advance to the finals with victories on Sunday.

None of the eight finalists have lost a game in State Cup competition this fall and all but one won all four of their matches. Three teams haven't allowed a goal – North Shore United Blue Under-15, SC Waukesha Blue Under-16 and Rush Wisconsin Under-18 – and every finalist has a goal differential of plus-12 or better.

SC Waukesha's Under-16 and Under-17 teams are both seeking their fourth consecutive titles, while the North Shore United Blue Under-18s look to defend the championship they claimed last fall.

The State Cup winners at each age group will claim berths in the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Championships, which are June 25 to 29 in Westfield, Ind. These four girls divisions of the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association event are played in the fall to avoid conflicts with the WIAA season; the other girls age groups and all boys competition is held in the spring, with group play over Memorial Day weekend.

Under-15
