Oct. 3, 1986: Mike Kottke equalized in thee 55th minute and defender Elliot Hurtig scored off a rebound in 82nd as the University of Wisconsin men's team rallied past Notre Dame 2-1 in a non-conference match at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, giving the Badgers the 100th victory in program history. Hurtig bundled in the follow-up after Dave Jaworski's shot for UW, while Gerard Averill (Madison West) made six saves in the milestone victory.
