Oct. 2, 1996: Jennifer Tischaefer (Fond du Lac) had six assists as UW-La Crosse routed city rival Viterbo 14-1 in a non-conference game. Tischaefer's total set a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference record that has been equaled just once since, and is the tied for the third-highest total in an NCAA Division III women's match. Tischaefer, who played for the Eagles from 1996 to '99, holds program records for most goals in a game, season and career and for the most assists in a game, season and career.
