Sept. 19, 1983: Dave Hodgson (Milwaukee Madison/Marquette) set up the opening goal as the U.S. Olympic team blanked host Malaysia 2-0 at the Merdeka International tournament in Kuala Lumpur. Hodgson, who was the Cedarburg High School boys coach at the time, assisted on Michael Fox's 27th-minute for the U.S. side.
