Both matches at Saturday's 24th annual Wisconsin Masonic All-Star Games at UW-Whitewater's Fiskum Field were one-goal games decided in the final 20 minutes.

Kate Sanocki (Hudson) slammed a shot from 25 yards out off the crossbar and over the goal line in the 75th minute to snap a tie and give the Gold a 3-2 victory over the Blue in the girls game for high school players who completed their prep eligibility during the 2014-15 school year. Then in the boys game that followed, midfielder Sean Reynolds (Mequon Homestead) scored in the 59th and 71st minutes as the Blue rallied for a 3-2 win.

Midfielder Gabrielle Millot (Rhinelander), who is headed to NCAA Division II Drury (Mo.) in the fall, set up the first two goals for the Gold.

She played a through ball that Margaret Koehler (Hudson) finished from 20 yards out in the 7th minute to open the scoring, then served in a corner kick that Jordyn Ostrowski (Schofield D.C. Everest) headed in for a 2-1 lead in the 56th. Ostrowski, who will play at Division II Upper Iowa, assisted Sanocki's game-winner and was named the MVP for the girls match.

Incoming Valparaiso freshman midfielder Kelsey Jahn (Oregon) played a role in both goals for the Blue. She beat two defenders and scored a 42nd-minute equalizer, then played in a cross that defender Anderley Penwell (Madison Edgewood) finished from the 6-yard box at the far post to level the score at 2 in the 70th.

Blue goalkeeper Michaela Schenk (Hartford), a UW-Oshkosh recruit, provided another highlight in the 36th, when she saved a penalty kick.

The Gold team scored twice in a 3-minute span in the opening half hour to take a 2-0 lead in the boys game.

Midfielder Winston Markusse (Brookfield East) got to the endline and slotted a pass back for Zach Whiting (Ashland) to finish inside the 6 in the 18th, and Devin Wermuth (Stoughton) ran onto a through ball from Nicolas Graese (Verona) in the box and scored in the 20th.

Forward Brandon Strobel (Kettle Moraine) started the comeback for the Blue with a fine individual effort in the 33rd, beating several defenders and finishing up after his initial shot was saved.

Reynolds – a UW-Milwaukee recruit who was named MVP of the boys game – netted the equalizer on a strike from the top of the box, then took a feed from Bobby Gaertig (Racine Prairie School) from the endline and scored from close range to give his side the lead 19 minutes from time.
