June 17, 2012: Central FC Select thumped Libertyville Premier Orange (Ill.) 6-0 in the girls Under-16 final of the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup in Overland Park, Kan., becoming the first Wisconsin team to win a regional title in the competition. The team from Portage County Youth Soccer in the Stevens Point area, which had lost in the Under-15 final a year earlier, scored 18 goals in winning all four of its matches at the tournament.
