June 11, 2005: Senior midfielder Marti Desjarlais had two goals and two assists as Brookfield Central cruised past Eau Claire Memorial 5-1 in the WIAA Division 1 girls state final at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee to win its unprecedented fourth consecutive state championship. Sophomore midfielder Danielle Kot added a goal and two assists for the Lancers (24-2-3), who scored three times in a 15-minute span in the second half to turn a tight game into a rout.
