For the second straight year, Milwaukee's Miller Park will play host to a preseason friendly between a Premier League club and a Liga MX side.
English club Newcastle United will face Mexico's Club Atlas on July 14, the Milwaukee Brewers announced Monday.

Tickets range from $25 to $70 each and go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Thursday, online at Brewers.com/soccer, by phone at 414-902-4000 or in person at the Miller Park Box Office. (Seating chart and prices below.) Parking is $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the match.

Last July, Premier League side Swansea City and Mexican club Club Deportivo Guadalajara tied 1-1 in a friendly watched by 31,237 in the first soccer game at Miller Park. It was the first time two pro outdoor teams squared off in Wisconsin since 2005 and most likely was the largest crowd to attend a soccer match in state history.

"After the success of last year's match, we are thrilled to bring world-class professional soccer back to Miller Park," Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger said in a news release.

Newcastle United (10-19-9) finished 15th in the 20-team Premier League during the 2014-15 season, avoiding relegation with a 2-0 victory over West Ham United in a season finale May 25.

The club in Newcastle upon Tyne in northeast England, founded in 1892, likely will have a new manager next season – John Carver was the Magpies' interim boss after Alan Pardew left the club in January to take over Crystal Palace. In addition to the match against Atlas, Newcastle announced friendlies against two teams from the third-tier USL as part of its visit to America: Sacramento Republic FC on July 18 and Portland Timbers 2 on July 21.

Atlas, one of three top-level clubs in Guadalajara, was formed in 1916 and has been a mainstay in the country's top league for 86 years. They went 8-5-4 finished fourth in the 18-team Liga MX Clausura during the recently completed season and lost to Chivas 4-1 on aggregate in the quarterfinals of the Liguilla Clausura playoffs. Atlas will have a new manager next season, as Gustavo Cristian Matosas Paidon was named to the position May 30.
