Milwaukee DSHA suffered its first losses of the season over the weekend in Kansas, but the Dashers remain atop the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Division 1 state girls rankings.

DSHA dropped 2-0 decisions to Kansas City Sion (Mo.) and Overland Park St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.) to fall to 2-2-0 on the year.

The Dashers take on two of the state's top Division 1 sides this week at Quad Athletic Complex, facing Menomonee Falls (honorable mention) on Tuesday and second-ranked Schofield D.C. Everest on Friday in a rematch of last year's WIAA state final.

La Crosse Aquinas vaulted into the Division 4 poll at No. 2. The Blugolds beat then-No. 5 Brookfield Academy 1-0 on Saturday for their sixth straight shutout victory to start the season before losing to then-No. 2 Racine St. Catherine's 1-0 later in the day.

St. Catherine's moved up to the top spot in Division 4. Waukesha West (Division 2) and Waukesha Catholic Memorial (Division 3) retained the No. 1 positions in their respective divisions.

DSHA continues to be the top team in the overall state top five determined by the coaches' panel, followed by D.C. Everest, Waukesha West, Kettle Moraine and Oregon – the Panthers rose three spots to second in Division 2.
