Three reigning WIAA state champions top their respective divisions in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association preseason girls state polls.

Milwaukee DSHA (Division 1), Waukesha Catholic Memorial (Division 3) and Wisconsin Rapids Assumption (Division 4) all will open the season at No. 1.

The panel of coaches tabbed Waukesha West as the top team in Division 2 – the Wolverines lost to Waunakee 2-1 in last spring's state final. Waunakee checks in at No. 3 in the preseason rankings.

Nine of the 20 teams in the polls weren't ranked in the final 2014 polls, including four of the five Division 1 sides. Schofield D.C. Everest, which dropped a 1-0 decision to DSHA in the state final, opens the season ranked second.

The coaches' panel also voted on the state's top five teams, regardless of division, with the Dashers first, followed by D.C. Everest, Waukesha West, Kettle Moraine and Whitefish Bay. The 33rd WIAA girls soccer season kicks off Tuesday.
