March 7, 1954: Ted Czwiki and Adam Nolan scored in the second half as Serbian SC blanked the Chicago Falcons 2-0 in a U.S. Amateur Cup replay watched by a crowd of 4,000 at Old Heidelberg. Peter Schwartz posted the clean sheet for the Serbians, who initially beat the Falcons 3-0 on Jan. 3 – the U.S. Football Soccer Association ruled that the match be replayed after the Chicago side filed a protest concerning the eligibility of several Serbians players. The winners advanced to play St. Louis in the Midwest final.
