The Milwaukee Wave won two more games over the weekend, but for second time this season they lost a starting goalkeeper.

Ian Bennett posted four-goal games each night as the Wave routed the Tulsa Revolution 13-3 on Friday and then held off the Wichita B-52s 14-12 on Saturday to extend their Major Arena Soccer League winning streak to four matches.

Milwaukee (12-6) clinched a Central Division playoff berth with the win over Wichita (8-10), but lost keeper-assistant coach Nick Vorberg to a hamstring injury just before halftime. Defender Jonathan Greenfield played in goal during the second half, making three saves as the Wave held on to win the back-and-forth game.

"We'll be very lucky if we get Nick back before the end of the season, but we're down to one great goalie in Jeff Richey and we're going to have to carry it all the way through," said Milwaukee coach Giuliano Oliviero, whose team signed Richey in December after losing Marcel Feenstra to a season-ending knee injury.

"In my 20 years of indoor soccer, I've never seen two starting goalkeepers go down in one season. It's very unlucky for us as a team, but Jonathan Greenfield stepped up, came up huge and showed a lot of leadership tonight."

The B-52s, who need to win their final two regular-season games to have a shot at catching the Chicago Mustangs (10-6) for the last Central playoff spot, leveled the score at 10 with 8:15 remaining only to see the Wave score four of the final six goals.

Luan Sales Oliveira put Milwaukee ahead for good with his 19th goal of the season at the 7:04 mark and Bato Radonic added to the lead 3:34 later. Matt Clare pulled one back for Wichita with a sixth-attacker goal, but Bennett scored just 9 seconds later off an assist from Stefan St. Louis, who closed out the Wave's scoring with 1:09 left.

Bennett's fourth four-goal game of the season gave the Canadian a 10-game goal-scoring streak and left him with a team-best 33 goals on the season – he ranks fifth in the MASL. Marcio Leite added his first hat trick of the season as Milwaukee set a season high for goals for the third consecutive match.

One night earlier, Leite scored just 23 seconds into the game to set the tone as the Wave overwhelmed Tulsa (2-13). Bennett had four goals and Oliveira added his first hat trick as Milwaukee had 13 goals while allowing the Revolution just nine shots.

Andrew Wiedabach (Mequon Homestead/UW-Milwaukee) assisted Bennett's first goal at 3:11 of the first quarter, earning a point in his professional debut.

Milwaukee closes out the regular season with a pair of home games at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, against the Syracuse Silver Knights (8-7) at 1:05 p.m. Saturday and against the Detroit Waza Flo (4-12) at 6:05 p.m. Feb. 21.
