Dafydd Jones (Cardinal Stritch) is headed to Podgorica, Montenegro, with the Wales national team for UEFA Futsal Euro 2016 qualifying matches.

Wales, ranked 85th in the world, faces No. 53 Finland on Wednesday, No. 62 Montenegro on Thursday and No. 76 Cyprus next Saturday in Group B of preliminary-round play. The group winner advances to the main qualifying round in March as teams vie for berths in next year's European Championships in Serbia.

Jones, who plays for Bristol City in the Midlands Division of England's FA National Futsal League, was in goal for Wales in October when it beat Greece 4-2 at the 4 Nations Cup in Poland for its first win in the program's two-year history. He played for Cardinal Stritch in 2006 and '07.
