Trinity International (Ill.) forward Samantha Yasatan (Racine Case) continues to reap the rewards for her record-breaking season.

The junior, who scored a program-record 29 goals for the Trojans this fall, was named to the third team of the NAIA All-American team. She's the first Trinity player to earn that honor since Rachel Verhoef back in 1999.

Yasatan, who was an honorable mention All-American last year, ranked fourth in the country in goals and added nine assists in helping the Trojans (14-4-2) earn their second consecutive NAIA national tournament berth – they lost to The Master's (Calif.) 4-1 in a first-round match last month.

Teammate Morgan Elzinga (Wisconsin Rapids) earned honorable mention All-America honors, as did Viterbo forward Molly Machometa.

Elzinga, a junior midfielder, ranked fifth in the country with 13 assists and was second on the team with 16 goals – eight of those were game-winners, the third-best total in the nation. Machometa ranked fifth in the NAIA with 24 goals (seven game-winners) and added four assists in her stellar junior season.

  • Tim Rosenfeld from the University of Wisconsin was named the NSCAA Senior College Women's Great Lakes Region Assistant Coach of the Year. The Badgers set a program record with 19 wins, claimed the Big Ten Conference tournament title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. Rosenfeld, a native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, has been part of coach Paula Wilkins' staff for all eight of her seasons at UW and works primarily with the team's goalkeepers and forwards.
  • The Badgers (19-3-2) dropped four spots to No. 13 in the season's final NSCAA Division I women's poll. UW-Parkside (18-1-3) slipped seven places and was 10th in the final Division II rankings, while UW-Whitewater (18-4-0) fell nine spots and finished 23rd in the Division III poll.
