Dec. 8, 2012: Milwaukee Marquette's Alex McBride had an assist as the West topped the East 3-2 in the second annual High School Soccer All-America Game in Birmingham, Ala. The midfielder set up Niko Hansen of Carmichael Jesuit (Calif.) in the first half to pull the West even at 1-1 in the match featuring some of the country's top high school seniors. Marquette's Steve Lawrence was one of four coaches for the West team, which also included Whitefish Bay defender Jake Taylor.
