Nov. 8, 1959: An own goal gave the Racine Osters the lead in extra time and Frank Frederich added a late insurance goal in a 4-2 victory over Milwaukee Sport Club in the Wisconsin Amateur Cup final. Czeter Lasly opened the scoring in the opening 5 minutes for the Osters, but Matt Geibl equalized minutes later. Racine's Al Grindel and Sport Club's Joe Scherer then exchanged goals, forcing 30 minutes of extra time.
