Nov. 7, 1992: Mike Malen had two goals and Mike Dindorf also scored as Brookfield Central blanked reigning champion Cedarburg 3-0 in the WIAA Division 1 boys state final at Breese Stevens Field in Madison. Earlier in the day, Jason Schroeder scored off a rebound in the 96th minute as Brown Deer outlasted De Pere 2-1 in overtime in the inaugural Division 2 state final.
