Sept. 24, 1983: Junior Jim Jianette scored eight goals as UW-Platteville trounced Knox in a non-conference match – only four players have scored more goals in an NCAA men's soccer game, at any level. The eight goals were part of Jianette's 41-goal season and he finished his Pioneers career with 105 goals in 55 appearances – those totals both rank second in Division III history.
