Sept. 19, 1964: Marquette played its first men's soccer game, a 6-2 victory over Illinois in Milwaukee. The Warriors finished 5-1-2 in their first season under the direction of coach Barry Fagin, a psychology professor at the school. The Marquette program is celebrating its 50th anniversary this fall.
