Sept. 11, 1999: Kristi Wilke made an incredible 44 saves in UW-Superior's 9-0 loss to Northwestern (Minn.) in a non-conference match in St. Paul, Minn. Amazingly, the performance is only tied for third in NCAA Division III women's soccer history – Becky Burnos of Alvernia (Pa.) set the record of 55 two weeks after Wilke's effort.
