July 28, 2009: Marie Gallagher scored in the 8th minute and Laurel Peak posted the clean sheet as the MYSC Lady Blues blanked the Brevard County Cocoa Expos 1-0 in Cocoa, Fla., to earn a berth in the Women's Premier Soccer League national semifinals. "Their keeper was phenomenal," Expos coach James Kryger said of Peak. The Midwest Conference champion Lady Blues improved to 8-1-0 on the season with the interconference playoff victory over Sunshine Conference winner Brevard County (11-1-1).
