July 25, 2012: Jay DeMerit (Green Bay/Bay Port) earned rave reviews for his play as the Major League Soccer All-Star Team rallied past English powerhouse Chelsea 3-2 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. DeMerit started and ended up playing all 90 minutes on the backline because of an injury to Sporting Kansas City's Aurelien Collin, and helped the MLS team end a two-year run of lopsided losses in the annual exhibition match.
