Before preparing for her final season at Marquette, Mary Luba (Shorewood) will spend time training with some of the nation's top college players.

The 5-foot-8 midfielder is one of 24 players invited to an eight-day U.S. Under-23 women's national team camp that starts Tuesday in Seattle. The team is under the direction of Virginia coach Steve Swanson, an original member of the Milwaukee Wave in 1984.

Luba has 15 goals and 12 assists in 65 appearances in her first three seasons with the Golden Eagles – she had eight goals and five assists in 22 games (16 starts) last fall. All of the players participating in the Under-23 camp played college soccer in fall 2013.
