One would think that UW-Milwaukee women's soccer coach Greg Henschel will be in attendance at the Wisconsin Masonic All-Star Games on July 26.

Not only are the 23rd annual matches featuring some of the state's top seniors being played at UW-Whitewater's Fiskum Field, where Henschel coached the men's and women's teams for 13 years, but seven future Panthers players are scheduled to play in the girls game.

Six UW-Milwaukee recruits are on the Blue team roster for the girls match, including defender Cassidy Blanchard (Whitefish Bay) and midfielder Anna Smalley (Menomonee Falls), who both were named to the First XI of this year's Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association All-State team.

They'll be joined by defender Erin Corrigan (Whitefish Bay), midfielder Jen Eberhardy (Menomonee Falls) and forwards Aubrey Krahn (Waukesha North) and Olivia Wright (Milwaukee DSHA) as future Panthers on the Blue squad. Another UWM recruit, goalkeeper Emily Senger (Waukesha North), is on the Gold roster.

At least two other players who have committed to NCAA Division I programs are on the girls rosters, which were released Thursday: Blue team midfielder Cristina From (Waukesha Catholic Memorial), who is headed to Western Illinois, and forward Shannon Greeley (Mequon Homestead), a Ball State recruit.

Striker Mackenzie Greisch (Appleton North), who is part of the Gold squad, joins Blanchard and Smalley as First XI all-state selections chosen for the game. Keri Berkowitz (Racine St. Catherine's) will be the keeper for the Blue team; she played primarily as a midfielder and forward during her prep career, but plays in goal for her Bavarian SC club team.

The week of events, which are organized by the Wisconsin Masonic Soccer Foundation, also includes a youth camp July 24, a training session for the senior all-stars and a cook-out on July 25 and a recognition breakfast on gameday.

The girls All-Star Game kicks off at 11 a.m., with the boys game to follow at 1 p.m. Tickets, which are good for both matches, are $10 and are available online. (Link to order tickets)
