July 8, 1973: The Old Milwaukee Brewers and United Serbians claimed titles as the Wisconsin Soccer Association season came to an end. Andy Krupa, Ramiro Alvarez and Shenit Zeqirofne scored as the Brewers (6-2-0) edged the Pepsi Kickers 3-2 and won the American Conference by two points over the Milwaukee Serbians (4-3-2) and Schlitz-Polonia (5-4-0). Meanwhile, Steve Miskov had two goals as the United Serbians (7-1-1) blanked Club Latino 4-0 to claim the National Conference crown by one point over the Bavarian Blue Ribbons (7-2-0).
