July 4, 1998: Luis Labastida set up David Baca's 74th-minute equalizer, then scored the winner off a feed from Baca in the 83rd as the host Albuquerque Geckos rallied past the Milwaukee Rampage 4-3 in an A-League match. Goals by Jason Willan (Menomonee Falls) in the 27th, Josh Timbers in the 42nd and Steven Morris in the 61st gave the Rampage a 3-2 lead, but they lost on Independence Day for the second straight year. In 1997, the Seattle Sounders levelled the score against Milwaukee in the 75th and went on to post a 2-1 overtime victory.
