June 20, 1943: John Petek scored in the first half, John Stier added two second-half goal and Dan Just finished off Falk's 4-0 victory over Deutscher Sport Club. The Major AA match had to be delayed 15 minutes in the second half because of fights between fans in the stands. It also was a rough match on the field, but "the Falks had too much youth and stamina for the older Deutscher team," according to the Milwaukee Sentinel. The result left the teams tied atop the standings, but Falk had one game in hand over their rivals.
