One week after they went on sale to the general public, more than 20,000 tickets have been sold for the July 16 friendly between English Premier League club Swansea City and legendary Mexican club Chivas in Milwaukee.

Brewers vice president of communications Tyler Barnes confirmed that total in an email Thursday; however, he said the team will not be providing regular updates on the number of tickets sold for the match at Miller Park (capacity 42,200).

Barnes also answered a question that has been asked frequently since the game was announced May 15: The field, with one goal near the outfield wall in left field and the other in the vicinity of first base, will be 66 yards wide by 107 yards long.

That is significantly larger than the minimum standards defined by FIFA's Laws of the Game – 50 yards by 100 yards. However, the field would not be allowed to play host to a FIFA international match, as those minimums are 70 yards by 110 yards.

Tickets for the match, priced at $25 to $70, are available at brewers.com/soccer and parking costs $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the game. Parking lots will open at 5 p.m. and gates will open at 6:30 p.m. ahead of the 8 p.m. kickoff.
