Wisconsin soccer fans will get the chance to watch international Futsal next month – for free.

The U.S. Futsal national team will play friendlies against France on June 12 and 14 at the Kern Center on the Milwaukee School of Engineering campus. Both matches kick off at 7 p.m. and there's no admission charge.

The American team, which will travel to the Four Nations Tournament from June 5 to 8 in Newcastle, England, is ranked 34th in the world. France checks in at No. 39.

“To be able to play France in Milwaukee is another great challenge for us, as well as another great opportunity to not only have players gain valuable futsal experience but to also showcase international futsal within the United States," said U.S. Futsal national team coach Keith Tozer, the former Milwaukee Wave coach.

The 14-player U.S. squad for the Four Nations Tournament and the friendlies against France includes one state native: Midfielder Philip Suprise (Milwaukee Pius), who was a rookie for the Wave last season in the Major Indoor Soccer League and earned his first national team call-up.

The Americans will train in Milwaukee before heading to England, where they'll face Qatar on June 5, Cyprus on June 6 and England on June 8 as they attempt to repeat as champions. The U.S. went 3-0 at the Four Nations tournament last year.

"I'm extremely excited about the roster of players we have coming into training camp in Milwaukee," Tozer said. "We have a great mix of veteran players and new players coming into the U.S. Futsal national team program. These games in England will be great for us as we start to prepare two years out for the CONCACAF qualifiers in 2016."
