FC Wisconsin Eclipse had a successful run at the Elite Clubs National League Texas Showcase a few weeks ago in Fort Worth, with its three teams picking up results in six of a combined nine matches.

The Under-16 side went unbeaten on the weekend to improve to 11-9-4 overall. Emily Valentine scored twice in a 3-0 win over the Utah Avalanche, while Kate Del Fava (Kenosha St. Joseph) had both goals in a 2-2 draw with the VSI West Florida Flames.

They tipped Georgia's Atlanta Fire 2-1 in their finale Feb. 23 thanks to goals from Mary DeWalt (Slinger) and Molly Riebau (Mequon Homestead), with Emma Langer (Waukesha West) setting up both goals.

FCWE's Under-17 team won two of three, topping the Virginia Rush 3-0 in its opener and getting a long-range goal from Gaby Dorsey (Milwaukee DSHA) – who has verbally committed to UW-Green Bay for 2015 – to tip the Utah Avalanche 1-0. They lost to North Carolina's CASL 2-0 to close out the tournament, leaving them 10-12-3 overall.

It was a rough weekend for the Under-15 side. Lindsey Weiss (Cedarburg) went down with a torn ACL in her knee days before the event, and then goalkeeper Jen Wandt (Brookfield East) was forced to the sidelines in the first half of the first game – a 1-0 loss to Georgia's Concorde Fire – because of a head injury.

Mikaela Hoard (Mequon Homestead) scored to help the team earn a 1-1 draw with VSI West Florida Flames, and Wandt returned for a 3-0 loss to the Texas Rush that left the team with a 6-13-3 overall record.

While the FC Wisconsin Eclipse Under-14 team will continue play in the Midwest Conference Great Lakes Division this spring, the four older teams won't be back in action until the ECNL playoffs in late June in Seattle. The top 32 teams in each age group qualify for the Champions League, with the next 32 in the North American Cup competition. Results, schedules, rosters
