After getting her first official call-up to a U.S. women's national team camp, Sarah Hagen (Appleton North/UW-Milwaukee) didn't have to wait long for the second.

The Bayern Munich striker is one of 28 players called in by coach Tom Sermanni for the team's first camp of 2014, which starts Wednesday in Carson, Calif. After the week-long camp, Sermanni will select a roster for the team's Jan. 31 friendly against Canada in Frisco, Texas. The match kicks off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Hagen, 24, earned her first national team camp invitation last month, joining the squad in Carson after Bayern Munich wrapped up the fall portion of its Frauen-Bundesliga season. She also trained with the team for a few days last April as they prepared for a friendly in Germany.

The 5-foot-11 Hagen is third in the Frauen-Bundesliga with seven goals in 10 matches for Bayern Munich, which is scheduled to resume its season in late February. She has 38 goals in 50 appearances in all competitions since joining the German club in January 2012.
