Carlos Munoz has fit right in with the Milwaukee Wave.

Munoz had four goals as the Wave scored 10 consecutive goals en route to a 24-4 rout of the expansion St. Louis Ambush in a Major Indoor Soccer League match watched by 4,149 fans Saturday night at U.S. Cellular Arena.

Marcio Leite added two goals and two assists and Fabio Ribeiro also scored twice for Milwaukee (5-1), which is one-half game behind league-leading Syracuse. The Silver Knights (6-1) visit Milwaukee on Tuesday for the Wave's annual New Year's Eve Day game.

Goals by Nick Perera and JC Banks (Milwaukee Riverside/UW-Green Bay) in the opening 2:34 gave Milwaukee the early lead. The Ambush (2-5) cut the deficit in half on Michael Roach's goal at the 7:48 mark, but Munoz converted off a pass from Leite at 10:07 to start the Wave's 20-point run.

Munoz, who signed with the Wave after the Chicago Soul folded during the offseason, has recorded a point in all six games this season and is tied for fourth in the league with 10 goals. Perera and player-assistant coach Giuliano Oliviero also had two assists apiece for Milwaukee, which had 12 players on the scoresheet.

Goalkeeper Marcel Feenstra stopped seven of the nine shots he faced in his second appearance of the season and first since the season opener Nov. 16. Jeff Richey, who has played with the Wave and former Milwaukee outdoor professional teams Rampage and Wave United during his career, made 12 saves as St. Louis lost its third in a row.

Tuesday's game against Syracuse, which plays at St. Louis on Sunday night, kicks off at 2:05 p.m.
