Twenty-four players with Wisconsin ties were named to Capital One All-District soccer teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America for excellence on the field and in the classroom.

All but one of those state players were named to the first team for their division in their respective districts, making them eligible for the Academic All-America team ballot – the organization will select first-, second- and third-team honor teams later this month.

Wisconsin players dominated the District 6 men's teams in NCAA Division I and III, claiming 13 of the 22 spots. Marquette had four players on the Division I team, while the University of Wisconsin had two; Carroll had two players on the Division III team.

Four state student-athletes with perfect 4.00 grade-point averages made all-district teams: Northern Illinois junior defender Dusty Page (Kettle Moraine Lutheran) on the men's side, and the women's trio of Marquette senior midfielder Kate Reigle (Brookfield East), UW-Milwaukee midfielder Kelsey Holbert and UW-Whitewater junior defender Kelsey Beld (Madison Memorial).
