Before the WIAA playoffs kicked off Tuesday, the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association released its final state boys rankings of the season.

Hartland Arrowhead and Sheboygan Lutheran-Christian joined fellow unbeaten Pewaukee atop their respective divisions: the Warhawks (15-0-2) ascended to the top spot in Division 1, while the Eagles claimed the No. 1 position in Division 4.

The changes at the top of those polls came after previous No. 1 sides Milwaukee Marquette (Division 1) and Green Bay NEW Lutheran (Division 4) lost late-season matches.

The Hilltoppers fell to Brookfield East 3-0 on Oct. 8, ending their 56-game unbeaten streak against Wisconsin teams, and slipped to second in the rankings. The Blazers, meanwhile, dropped a 1-0 decision to Sturgeon Bay on Oct. 7 that cost them the Packerland Conference title and were third in the final poll.

Brookfield East remained No. 1 in Division 2 rankings and Pewaukee continued atop the Division 3 rankings – both of those polls remained unchanged from the previous poll.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran, which moved in at No. 5 in the Division 4 poll, was the only newcomer among the 20 ranked teams.
