Andrija Novakovich's passport will get another stamp this month.

The striker from Muskego was named to the U.S. Under-18 national team for a four-team international tournament from Oct. 6 to 14 in Limoges, France.

Novakovich played for the Under-18 team during the summer at the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland, and was part of the Under-17 national team at the Niigata Tournament in Japan.

The 18-player U.S. team leaves Sunday for Paris, and will face host France on Oct. 9, the Czech Republic on Oct. 11 and Poland on Oct. 13. This is the first event for the cycle of players who will prepare for the 2015 CONCACAF Under-18 Championships.

Novakovich is playing with the Chicago Magic PSG Under-17/18 team in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy this fall, and has seven goals through five matches. Going back to the spring, the 6-foot-4 Marquette recruit has 29 goals in his past 24 appearances.

Novakovich's cousins, Aleksander and Luka Prpa, also are playing for Magic PSG this fall. Aleksander, who also is known as Leki, has one goal in three matches for the Under-17/18 team, while Luka has two goals in five games for the club's Under-15/16 side.

  • Striker Tosaint Ricketts (UW-Green Bay) is one of 21 players called in by Canadian national team coach Benito Floro for an Oct. 15 international friendly against Australia at Fulham's Craven Cottage in London. Ricketts has three goals in four matches for Bucaspor since joining the Turkish second-tier club last month, and has scored five times in 25 caps for Canada.
