Tosaint Ricketts (UW-Green Bay) didn't take long to open his account at his new club.

The Canadian international headed home a pair of goals in a 6-minute span to help Bucaspor rally from a three-goal deficit and pull level with Adana Demirspor, but the home side pulled out a wild 5-4 victory in a Turkish Football Federation First League match Sunday. (Video highlights below)

Bucaspor (2-4-0) scored first, then gave up four goals in 15 minutes to fall behind 4-1. Ricketts, playing his third match with the second-division club since joining from Norway's Sandnes Ulf at the transfer deadline Sept. 2, pulled one back in the 50th minute and did it again in the 55th.

After Bucaspor equalized in the 61st, Adana Demirspor went right back ahead in the 62nd and held on for the victory. Surprisingly, this wasn't even the highest-scoring match between the teams this year: They played out a 5-5 draw back in April.

  • Aaron Nichols (UW) scored the first goal of his professional career on Monday night, finishing off Ljungskile SK's 4-0 victory over host Varbergs BoIS FC in a Superettan match in Sweden. Ljungskile (12-11-2) scored all four of its goals in the final 26 minutes, capped by Nichols' goal in the first minute of stoppage time, and is sixth in the 16-team second division with five games left. Nichols came on in the 47th minute, and his 43 minutes nearly matched the 45 minutes he logged over his first three appearances with Ljungskile. (Video highlight below)
  • Calum Mallace (Marquette), on loan from Major League Soccer's Montreal Impact, scored the opener as Minnesota United FC topped host FC Edmonton 2-1 in a North American Soccer League match Sunday. Mallace volleyed an attempted clearance from just outside the box past Eddies goalkeeper Lance Parker in the 37th minute – it was his first goal for Minnesota United and his first for a pro first team; he did score twice for the Impact in MLS Reserve Division play last season. Mallace was named to the NASL Team of the Week for his goal and performance in midfield in the win. On Twitter: @CMallace10
