For the third straight season, a Wisconsin team will play in the U.S. Youth Soccer National League.

SC Waukesha Blue will play in the boys Under-18 division for the 2013-14 season, U.S. Youth Soccer confirmed this week. The league, which is heading into its seventh season, features the country's top teams in the Under-14 through Under-18 divisions.

Sixteen teams – four from each of the four U.S. Youth Soccer regions – make up each age group in both boys and girls play, and are split into two divisions. The top two teams in each division will earn berths in the 2014 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships.

SC Waukesha's seven-game National League schedule will start Nov. 21 to 24 in Wilson, N.C., followed by Dec. 27 to 29 in Orlando, Fla., and wrapping up March 14 to 16 in Las Vegas. All three events will run in conjunction with other tournaments, and the team schedules will be announced in mid-September.

The Waukesha team, which advanced to the Region II Under-17 final and finished 1-1-1 at nationals this year, will be the second Wisconsin boys side to play in the National League, following Kenosha's United FC in 2011-12. The North Shore United Under-18 team, which played the 2012-13 season, is the only state girls side to play in the league.
